Luna’s Logbook:

🐾 Luna’s Logbook

Welcome to Luna’s Logbook– a journal chronicling the adventures, training milestones, and everyday magic of one bright-eyed Australian Cattle Dog in training to become a medical alert service dog.

Here you’ll find updates on Luna’s progress, her favorite gear, stories from our outings, and all the lessons we’re learning along the way- together. Whether she’s chasing tennis balls through sunbeams or alerting with supernatural precision, Luna is always on the job (and always a little bit silly).

Sniff around, stay awhile, and join us on this tail-wagging journey- one paw print at a time.

🎒 Gear & Resources

A look into Luna’s working wardrobe and our favorite training tools.

🐶 Essential Gear

🎾 Training Tools

  • Clickers
  • Mobility aids: Personally, I use a Hurrycane walking cane, and a rollator walker interchangeably.

🍖 Treats & Rewards

  • Favorite high-value training treats: Anything salmon or fish flavored, or come from our favorite local barkery– Reese’s.
  • Enrichment toys (KONGs, snuffle mats)
  • Luna’s treasured tennis balls + glow-in-the-dark ball.

📚 Handler Resources

  • As strange as it sounds, some of my absolute FAVORITE resources for handlers can be found on social media. Look up your local Facebook groups- you’ll find tons of handlers in your area, who are going through the same situations as you, and you may even make a couple of friends!
  • TikTok [of course, with all social media, take this one with a grain of salt.]

  • The Ultimate Service Dog by Keagan J. Grace

Organizing Team

Eventure is curated by a small team of designers, researchers, and ecologists who believe that technology must serve the planet — not the other way around. Working between Milan, Nairobi, and São Paulo, the team brings together local knowledge and global collaboration to shape a gathering rooted in care, creativity, and systems thinking.
We don’t just program talks — we curate experiences, relationships, and ideas that grow long after the event ends.
