Day #18: Is magic seen positively or negatively? Why?

Most often times the magicks are seen as a blessing. It means that the Goddess of the Wild, or some other deity has smiled down on the people.
However, there are also some peoples who see these magicks as a burden. This is because all magicks come at a price, and nothing is ever free. So sometimes, magic is seen as unpredictable.
