Day #7: Recommend a book that shaped you as a writer.

For this one I chose Guilty Pleasures by one of my favorite authors @official_lkhamilton. A very good and important friend recommended these books to me about 10 years ago, and they were one of the first books that I read from cover to cover in under 6 hours nonstop. No snack breaks. No drink breaks. Not even a pee break.

Her writing style resonated with me in a way that nothing else has or did. It was like watching a movie play out before me. I will forever recommend this book to anyone and everyone. Vampire strippers? Yes please.

And penguins. I love penguins.

(Also, I’m sorry I’m late. My mom got rushed to the hospital on Friday morning and it was crazy and horrible and stressful and I forgot about social media for awhile.)
