Weekends are For Horror Movies.

            I mean, the title kind of says it all right?

            Because what else am I supposed to do when my leg gave out the day before yesterday in the Walmart, so badly that I legitimately thought about calling an ambulance. The Round Lake Walmart doesn’t have any actual wheelchairs, and the electronic ones were all taken, so when my leg decided to give out in the middle of the store, I was kind of fucked.

            Angel was worried. I think Grandma was also worried. But, like with all things I pushed through it because, really, what else am I supposed to do? So, last night, the two of us were laying in bed watching Stranger Things- we finished season three. After that, we decided to throw on a movie, and I saw that Starz had Spiral: From the Book of SAW available. It was the only SAW movie that I didn’t watch together with my mom because, obviously she died before it came out.

            So, the two of us laid here and watched it together.

            I have thoughts… firstly, let me just start out by saying that I didn’t like the main character, and not just because I don’t like that actor. But William turning out to be the “new” Jigsaw was beyond amazing, and I’m kind of pissed that it’s just a standalone film because, seeing him go through the motions would be incredible. I love the idea of continuing John’s work for a good reason- and all of those cops were majorly corrupt, so you know that John would’ve most likely gone after them if he’d been alive still.

            Now, it’s Sunday, and we’re on SAW V, which is exciting, obviously because Angel isn’t usually a horror movie person. So, her wanting to sit here and marathon horror movies with me while I’m not feeling well is a lot of fun. But we don’t really get that option today. The rats needed their cage cleaned, which we got a whole lot of rattitude about, and the sir needs to go get a bath and have his nails done at the groomer today. I would love another day to rest my leg but, that’s just not in the cards for me.

            At least tonight we’re having burgers on the grill, and then as a family we’re going to sit down and watch Jurassic World: Dominion on Peacock (which is a great streaming service by the way. I mean it, all the SAW films AND they’re the only ones with the new Jurassic Park film. So, I figured I’d sit here and write this out real quick before Angel comes back with my coffee. (She loves me.)
