🎄✨ Luna Takeover: Dear Santa Paws, I’ve Been a Very Good Cryptid ✨🎄

Surprise! And Merry Christmas Eve Eve, friends!

Welcome back to The Crippled Cryptid, where disability, chronic illness, service dogs, and everyday sorcery curl up together under a soft lamp like friendly ghosts trading stories.

If you’re new here, hi. I’m Luna.

If you’re returning, welcome home. I saved you a warm spot.

Now, I know what you’re thinking. Luna, it’s not Friday. Correct. But Christmas is only two sleeps away, and rules get a little sparkly around the holidays. So today is a Friday Tuesday Luna Takeover, also known as my favorite kind of surprise.

This year has been… weird. Hard. A little soggy around the edges. My human Mama has been having a rough go health-wise, and our house has felt quieter without Bear. I still check his bed. I still sniff his couch spot. I still gently steal his toys because they smell like love and memories.

So, I decided to do something cheerful. Something hopeful. Something very Important.

I wrote to Santa Paws.

Actually, Mama helped. I supervised. Which is why I must inform you of my Amazon Wishlist now- just in case anyone wanted to know what I want for Christmas.

🎅🐾 What Luna Wants for Christmas

If Santa Paws is reading this from the North Bark, here is my official list:

🎁 A new car for my human
Because car rides are magical, and also I like sitting up like a fancy lady and watching the world go by.

🎾 ChuckIt! Kick Fetch balls
These are my holy relics. My preciouses. My reason for sprinting like I have rocket boosters… and sometimes tumbling through the grass like a roly-poly.

🎾 Tennis balls in every color
Bonus points if they glow. Summer yard play does not stop just because the sun clocked out for the day.

🐟 Costco crispy salmon skins
I do not need to explain this. You understand.

🌈 Bear
I know this one is impossible. But if heaven and the Rainbow Bridge weren’t so far away, I’d ask for just one visit. I miss him. We all do.

🧣 More bandanas
Fashion is important. Especially when you are a working dog with a reputation to maintain.

🧥 More sweaters
I do not like the cold. I do not enjoy the cold. Sweaters keep me warm, visible, cute, and safe. Safety matters. Even when certain uncles say that I look “ridiculous.”

🐾 Paw balm
The cold is extremely rude to my toe beans, and frankly I won’t stand for it.

🔥 Another heated blanket
This may be for me and Mama. At night I sleep with Mama and M&M, and I believe the entire Queen-sized heated blanket belongs to me. I HATE being cold.

🦺 A second service vest
We love our sunflower gear. It’s beautiful and strong. But backups are important. Clean, safe gear means my human stays safe too.

🔘 Talk buttons
I have many thoughts. Many opinions. I would like to express them clearly and frequently.

But more than toys or treats or sweaters, I think what I really want is this:

A better year ahead

Don’t worry though. We already wrote my 2026 goals. They are ambitious. They include joy, healing, and possibly more cheese than recommended.

🎄 Before I Go…

What do you want for Christmas?

Is there something special you’re hoping Santa brings?
And if you don’t celebrate Christmas, what do you celebrate this season?

Thank you for being part of our little haunted den. Reading, sharing, and showing up means the world to us.

Love,
Luna 🐾💜
